At Butlins:The(unofficial)Blog (yes, thats our FULL name, although we'd like to lose the unofficial part, we need to include it :() we are committed to bringing you correct, interesting and helpful information, and we do this by;

A) Providing an easy to use, easily navigated and well presented blog interface.
B) Creating new features to add to the experience of our blog.
C) Make ways of earning money to improve the blog, we currently do this by placing ads on our blog, and sponsored text. For more information on this, please refer to the legally placed "Advertising Disclosure" on the navigation bar at the top.
D) Always ensure the peoples rightful content is kept so. There's lots of things we'd like to show you, say to you and publish, but, due to copyright issues and data protection rules, we're not allowed. Although this is a slight disappointment in some cases, we'd rather stay in the good books of Bourne Leisure and Butlins :P (especially seeing as though we're Butlins:TheBlog).
E) We moderate comments on the blog, Fan Chat, and Your Photos. If we see anything inappropriate, or material that would put either us (Butlins:The(unofficial)Blog), Butlins Skyline Ltd, or Bourne Leisure Limited and any of it's employees in danger, we'll just remove it.
F) We're totally pro - Butlins, we have no intention of mistreating their name, talking in bad words about the business. We've always tried to be advocates to the brand.
G) Jake and Callum run this blog with nothing but good intentions for Butlins. We are not paid, endorsed or associated with Butlins, so, please, don't presume that we are and think our posts are "official" - they're not.

What would you ask the Resort Directors?

We've asked the super cool team on facebook if we could give the Resort Directors some questions to ask from you lot (and us too!). Although they are very busy, we've been told they will be passed on to their PA's. This means that if, and when, they get chance, they might answer your questions and send them back to us, and, we'll write an article on them. I guess you could call it and interview, but none of us are actually meeting them, so it isn't really!

Ever wondered what goes on when the Skyline Pavillion undergoes it's change to the "arena"?

The answer's probably no, why would you?
On the other hand, now we've tempted you, it'd be evil not to tell you, or, from We Are Butlins, SHOW YOU! The super creative guys at Butlins have created this for you all to see, and we've pinched it for all of our blog readers to check up on, just in case you haven't seen it on youtube already! Plus, we thought it was pretty cool, don't you agree?

Splash! Waterworld update!

Splash! at Skegness is nearly finished - completely! There's really only finishing touches to be added. Outside is nearly complete too! We read that the outdoor hot tub isn't open (:() but everything else is nearly finished, and, what's more is that the cargo nets opn THIS WEEK, and, all flumes are open... This was confirmed on facebook.

Karen Francis, another Facebook friend, says; "You can add a couple more rides from me please Callum and Jake x Don't want to push it too far,mine like what's there now but could do with a miami wave ,that jumper ride thing would be good will get back to you with the correct name x" We couldn't agree more! She also added, "I've asked my girls they've said Air and Storm but we can't remember the name of the other could be Joker,that's great fun and would suit a lot from junior age up to adults ,doesn't go upside down(thank god) bounces x"

A) Anyone. Remember this when uploading personal photos.

A) These photos belong to you, however, for copyright purposes, Butlins: TheBlog may stamp them with our logo. This means that we would hold the rights to the photos, but you would still remain the owner of the photos.

Q) Is your photos moderated?
A) Yes, absolutely, if any photos are inappropriate  show the misuse or drugs, alcohol abuse or nudity, we will remove the photos, this also applies to when anyone in the photo may be at risk by the photo being on Your Photos (for ANYONE to see)
