Karen Tomlinson is a super talented Jessie J tribute act. She's been performing at all 3 Butlins resorts this year, and she's loved it! We asked her a few questions, so we could share all of the inside gossip about her act, and what she does!
How long have you been doing your act?
Karen told us that she started practising her act last August, but she officially started in January this year. She's come on such a long way. In that short time, only 9 months, she's been performing at all three of your favourite Butlins resorts!
What is it like performing at Butlins, and what is life like there?
There's no better way to explain Karen's response than to tell you it;
As you'd imagine, any crowd at Butlins is amazing, but Karen told us that this year, it's been close, but it's definitely between Bognor Regis and Minehead (sorry Skegness).
Where do you see yourself in ten years time?
Karen sadly didn't go on holiday to Butlins as a child. That doesn't mean she didn't have holidays, she went to Feather's Holiday Camp, Whitley Bay (Not far from where I live, Darlington). It's amazing that Karen is performing at Butlins, because that means she went to an amazing holiday camp as a child, and is now performing (wow) at Butlins! We must add that Karen did in fact visit Skegness for the day when she was 4! Loving from a young age...

I love performing at Butlins. Not many places have live bands any more, in fact, the 3 fantastic Butlins resorts are the only venues that use live bands! The technical side of it is so professional, and the audiences are FIERCE!!!Which resort has given the best crowd?
